“I’m running a gold mining company in Papua New Guinea with several mining operations across the country. Finding a reliable supplier and mining equipment manufacturer who can produce customized equipment is essential in my business. I first connected with the DownUnder4Gold team in 2023 while searching for suppliers who could support my long-term plans in mining. During my search, I evaluated several companies before deciding to work with them. What impressed me most was their serious approach to equipment quality and their reliability. My first order was a large SD500 shaker wash plant. After the equipment was assembled, I traveled to inspect it in person at the workshop. For that reason, I decided to postpone using that unit until a later stage when my operation expands. Since then, I have ordered a range of additional equipment from them, including 4 units of SD100 shaker, customized sluice boxes, diesel pumps, container housing units, trailers, various spare parts and tools. In the meantime, I have also been operating a wash plant sourced from New-Zeland. The DownUnder team helped me obtain the spare parts needed to repair and keep that plant running while we prepare for further development of my operation. Over the years, our cooperation has grown into more than just a supplier relationship. We have built trust, and I see them as long-term partners for the development of my mining activities. “I operate a small alluvial gold mining operation in Australia. Last year I purchased a 50E model trommel wash plant from DownUnder4Gold. The plant includes a trommel screen and a sand screw for dewatering. Overall the installation and startup were straightforward and took a very short time. From the beginning, the washing performance has been very good. The trommel cleans the material effectively, and the stones come out very clean after washing. The plant processes approximately 20–30 tons per hour depending on the type of material, especially whether the gravel contains clay or not. My typical workflow is to spend a few days digging material and then several days washing it through the plant. At one point we had a small issue with the speed of the sand screw. After contacting the DownUnder4Gold team, they gave me the consultation on how to use the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to reduce the screw speed. After making this adjustment, the sand screw began operating smoothly and the dewatering performance improved. In terms of results, the improvement compared to my previous trommel has been significant. With my old trommel of similar capacity, my daily recovery was around 30 grams of gold. With the new trommel from Down Under, the recovery has increased to approximately 60–100 grams per day. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance of the plant, the washing quality, and the support provided by the Down Under team.”

“I have a gold mining project in Sierra Leone. When I decided to invest in new mining equipment, I traveled to China to personally visit and evaluate manufacturers. During my trip, I visited and compared more than 10 different factories. My original plan and budget were quite limited — I expected to spend about $30,000 on equipment, and initially I was not planning to work with DownUnder4Gold. However, after visiting their workshop and seeing the equipment in person, my perspective changed.
